Dopplegangers

It is believed that Dopplegangers are the evil twin of the victim. But some people believe that they are ghost doubles. In lore they believe that if the victim sees their Doppleganger, it is an omen of death. And if a family member, or friend sees that Doppleganer, that they will have bad luck.
The Dopplegangers are said to give advice to their living twin, but in most cases it is malicious or deceiving. They alsodon't have a shadow, or reflection.

Djinn (Jinn)

In season 2 Episode 20 of Supernatural, Dean and Sam are faced with a Djinn.

Pre-Islamic Lore states that Djinn are born or made of smokeless fire. They also believe that they can be made out of mud. The Djinn, according to folklore. Are able to be invisible but can shift into any form. They also live long lives but are not immortal. One of the most popular tales about Djinn, is that God gave Solomon a ring that made him the only human who could fully control  Djinn.

In Muslim Lore, it is believed that if a Djinn is killed, other Djinn will seek revenge on the murderer. Both folklore believe that the Djinn can take on any form or become invisible. It is said that they are able to enter a humans body through the bloodstream. Bargaining or asking a Djinn to leave a humans body is not powerful enough; an exorcism is said to be the only thing to remove a Djinn from a human body.

Supernatural Season 10 Episode 14

In this episode Cain started killing any family that was related to him. Sam, Cas, and Dean are trying to find a cure for The Mark of Cain, with Cas saying he has a lead Dean decides to try one more time. They have to persuade Crowley to give Dean the First Blade so he can kill Cain, that being the only thing that can kill him.
So when Crowley goes to get the First Blade his Mother tells him that they are just using him. But he doesn't listen to her because Cain is just as much of an enemy to him as he is to Dean. My way of describing Crowley's mom is that she is the perfect analogy of peer pressure because she uses her place in his life, and personal things to get him too listen to her and do what she says. None the less he gives Dean the Blade and Dean kills Cain.
After he killed Cain the deal was to give Crowley the First Blade back. But Dean knew that the mark would make him do things that were uncontrollable so he handed the blade to Cas, because he knows when he has to go down the only people he won't fight with are Sam and Cas, because he loves them so much.

Anasazi Tribes

The Anasazi are ancient tribes that were formed around 500 A.B and they lived in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. They were hunters and gatherers until they learned how to build homes, and make essentials. They made their homes by digging a pit in the ground and using logs to keep it stable, and then filling in the rest of it with loose sticks and mud. They made pottery and engraved it with Anasazi symbols, and left some blank to use for cooking and other purposes.
For food they mainly grew corn, squash, and beans. For meat they caught mice, rabbits, and sometimes deer, which they usual smoked so it would stay good for longer. They would weave baskets to store food in and to carry things to another destination. A bow and arrow were used to catch their food.
They carved their symbols into cave walls. The symbols showed things like the different sun positions, the weather, and other things that could get passed on from one tribe to another.

But after the man rejected her she jumped off a bridge in Mexico City, and drowned. The legend says that she was not allowed into Heaven until she found her children, so she would kidnap wandering children that looked like hers in hopes of finding them.

I got the leather to make my journal today, and thankfully it's the right color. I can't make the journal yet though because I still need thread, a needle, and lots of pages. I already have the calendar pages but I have to do all the writing on them. We haven't ordered the military pins for the inside of the front page yet but I don't need them right now. I wanted to get some done before the convention(wow im meeting Misha Collins 0.0) but I decided i'd rather have photos so I don't have to rush now.
I still have to find some original stories that I can write about for the journal because there's a lot of extra pages that need to be filled up since they never show you the full journal in the show.

Supernatural pins !

Yesterday I got my set of Supernatural themed pins, and my calendar pages for John's journal. There are 25 pins, and for each one there is a challenge, either Hunter, or Scholar. Every time I complete a challenge I get the corresponding pin.
I'm excited to use them because it makes boring things fun and exciting, because I really hate writing. I think the hardest will be the crossroads demon pin because I've never captured a crossroads demon before!
The link for these pins is https://www.etsy.com/shop/IgniteTheSky

Uses for salt against the (not) natural

Salt was used as a currency, being traded in equal weight for gold. It was said to be pure because it could preserve food. Because it was pure, it was suspected to keep demons away, like Holy Water.

In the show it is used in shotgun shells which are shot at the ghost (demon, shifter, ect.) and it dissipates them for a short period of time, but it does not kill them. Salt rings are put around people or objects to keep the supernatural out as well as salt lines, which are put in front of windows, doors, and mirrors to keep them out of homes.
